Let Me Do The Keyword Research For You
By Jon | March 22, 2009
Are you stuck in doing keyword research?
And you feel this is the most boring part in your Internet marketing business?
Here’s the deal.
Post a comment with your niche or a niche that you think there’s really no room to find keywords that can easily rank on and I’ll do a case study on it.
I’ll choose among the comments which niche to use as a case study.
Give me 7 days and I’ll post another video post that contains detailed information on how I did a keyword research for that niche. I’ll show you long tail keywords to target and why I did choose that keyword.
To be honest, I can’t see yet any niche that’s there’s no room for you to launch a new business. Not even in weight loss niche!
In fact, successful business people will tell you that, more competition the better. Because that means that people are proven to be making money on that niche.
Note though that research a niche and keyword researching is different. Some people get confused on that part. Be sure you already have a niche then I’ll do a keyword research.
So, go ahead and post your niche and you got a free professional keyword research services.

How about doing a keyword research on “weight loss?”
I know it’s such a huge scope that you will find lots of keywords in there – but for the same reason, I’d like to see how you sort out the “gold” from the “stones.”
Thanks in advance.

Hi Joe,
love the blog so much excellent information, and your digging for gold has been my best purchase online to help my business. Niche i have kept putting off researching as there is so much competition is for my plug in profit site, ie in the internet/MLM marketing niche, make money online etc.
There is a lot of competition and i am yet to make any $ from this program as i am finding it hard to get a targeted audience to my website.
Heres to hoping you can help.;
Keep up the fantastic work, your efforts help us all with our own efforts.

Jon -
I am certain that you will find it VERY difficult to find a Niche for me to run my business. I am in the NEWS business. Not national, but for sunny Santa Barbara, CA. My Website Planet Santa Barbara (www.PlanetSantabarbara.com) only publishes local news for Santa Barbara. I am currently going for a pretty small niche – “Santa Barbara Local News” Thus far I have done fairly well and have moved from page infinity to page two on the google search using those keywords. I have my meta tags engaged, and I put out new content on a regular almost daily basis that is pertinent for the keywords, but unless I get some really big scoop, I will likely continue to struggle.
Currently there is medium competition for those keywords ( “Santa Barbara Local News” ) and there are about a thousand new searches per month for those keywords. The keyword tool is not popping out any new ideas for me.
I love your work, and am very interested in how you work.
Thanks,
Matt Mason

Hi Jon,
I’m currently working on keyword research for the “Relationship Repair” niche. Finding loads of keywords is not a problem, however organising the keywords into several tightly focused groups is a challenge for me.
Mostly all the keywords and phrases seem to have basically the same meaning apart from gender i.e. “how do I get my ex girlfriend back”. This makes it difficult to write several ads with alternative themes and matching sales pages.
I would be very interested in following a case study on Keyword Research, whether in the above niche or some other, so thanks for the offer, Jon. I’m sure plenty of us learners will be eagerly awaiting the results.

Hello Jon :
Thanks for this service. I have some PLR products that i am planning to develop and market. They are in the IM field and Health niches namely weight loss, quit smoking, diabetes, cancer and shoes niche. Any guidance in keyword research in any of the above niches is highly appreciated.
In any case, since you are doing a video, it will help us learn also. Thanks a million, once again.

Hiya Jon, Boy do I have a doozie for you.
I don’t care who see’s because I have a special gift in a hard as crap niche to get any traffic for. My niche is Energy Healing, the spiritual kind. I am an energy healer. Energy healing is my main keyword, spiritual energy healing my 2nd keyword and I need to find other keywords that have higher traffic in the same niche. I am #19 for spiritual energy healing in the serps, and 34 for energy healing. Not bad for 2 HIGHLY competetive keywords in a niche most wouldn’t touch with a 10 ft pole. I just can’t seem to find any GOOD keywords to add with higher traffic. I have paid for SENuke and IPB10 and neither of them could find me any better keywords than the 2 main ones I am using. Lots of other words with no traffic to speak of.
I was told by members at senuke to get into a different niche. I don’t believe that is neccessary with the right keywords. Energy Healing is what I do helping thousands of people, so changing niches is not an option.
You game?? LOL I am if you are!!

I’d like to develop a new website related to steampunk art: Art of all kinds, inspired by the futuristic visions of 19th century (and early 20th century) authors including H.G. Wells, Jules Verne, etc. It’s a very small, quirky niche, and difficult to research for useful keywords.

Keep on coming guys. I’ll choose the best niche for us to use as case study and learn.

Here is what I am looking for.
What ever niche you choose, all of us can take the principles an applied to our own projects.
I would like it to go from the start of the keywords all the way to showing us how to set up a campain with our keywords.

I am thinking about the niche “time management and better time organization.” Everyone is short on time these days and many studies show that part of the problem is our inefficient use of our time. Curious how it looks – is there enough money in that niche to make it worthwhile?

I’m trying to get subscriptions to wine tasting video classes online. I’m trying to figure out whether I should be making videos about and buying adwords keywords on the grapes, the regions, or specific bottles of wine.

Do the Wii for a niche. It is high demand but seems to be highly competitive too.

A good way to get keyword suggestions is to use Google Adwords keyword tool. First, you need an Adwords account. Then start a new PPC campaign for your site and use the keyword tool to find not only keywords that people have searched on but also their monthly relative search volumes.

what is a niche?how does it differ in keyword?
September 16th, 2009 at 4:19 am
Hi Jon,
Watched your video right now and my eyes bugged out. My niche focuses around “Panic and Anxiety Attacks”. I am relatively new to this game, so just following some advice and utilizing tools. My site is presently ranked #7 broad match, #1 phrase match, but I just can’t get any traffic. I think my site is o.k., nothing to brag about, but I have seen worse. I did a small Adwords campaign for testing my keyword and got some traffic with an avg. CTR of around 3% but not one sale. So, I am scratching my head. I know someone is selling the affiliate product I am targeting according to Clickbank’s numbers. ???? Help.
