Hi Jon,

I bought digging for gold ebook yesterday and it was great.

I saw the video and I have few queries.

1. You explained in the video that there are actually only 5 competitors which has good content with keywords "energy healing". My question is other 5 competitors may have less content with less keywords, but they may have more number of backlinks with the anchor text "energy healing". In that case, we can not neglect the other 5 competitors too. Do you agree with this? and how do we identify these backlinks with anchor text "energy healing"?

2. Does the number of backlinks to the homepage of a site will be considered while positioning any page of the site for a particular keyword? For example, if I have 100 backlinks to my homepage, Does these 100 backlinks contribute to position one page of my site with a particular keyword? Or it is only the anchor text backlinks that are considered?

Please let me know your answers for these questions. I am eagerly waiting to see your answers :)

Thank you.

Regards,
Indu Priya

Thanks for the video Jon. Coupled with your Digging For Gold book it is an excellent resource.

At the end of the video you mentioned "the next version of my book". Are you revising Digging For Gold?

I recently purchased your book and was wondering when the new version will be released.

Thank you for your insights on KW research.

Hi Jon,

Your focus always seems to be on niche keywords, however, is there any reason you wouldn't use the exact same strategy for more competitive, non-niche terms?

Hi Jon,

Once you have completed your keywords research( either by using a keyword tool or gathering them by seeing text source of ezine articles), how do you create the contents of your website's pages? Is there a minimum keyword density for each pages to rank well.

If you outsource the creation of your website's pages can you advice one outsourcer (full details)?

Can you give us a sample url of a site that you create?

Thanks,
Hakeem.

Hi Taqi.

No I don't. It's really hard to publish an SEO book since search engines often change their algo everytime. This will outdate any book.

There's also no way you can tell how long will it take to rank.
